Retinal screening is rapidly emerging as a transformative approach to identifying cardiovascular risk in asymptomatic individuals. Advances in artificial intelligence and retinal imaging now enable detailed cardiovascular insights to be derived from a single retinal photograph. One such innovation is Reti-CVD, developed by Mediwhale in South Korea and now available in the UK through Heart Eye.

We would like to invite GPs and associated healthcare practitioners to join our optometrists for an introduction to, and discussion on, this emerging technology and its potential role in preventative cardiovascular care.
